| So You Want to Be An Actor?...... |
| Let me teach you the inside secrets on how to pursue a career as a working actor from someone who has been doing it for 23 years! You know not a week goes by that I'm not asked by a friend, some random person at the grocery store, or receive email for advice on being an actor. Well folks, it ain't easy, and I don't recommend it. HOWEVER... For those people that really think they've got to come out to Los Angeles to become rich and famous in movies and TV, then you need guidance from a REAL working actor - ME! I personally know several people who have been here in Los Angeles for 8, 9, even more than 10 years, and they STILL DON'T have an agent, and haven't worked on a network television show or a studio film! Let my course save you 10 years of wasting your time. I order a lot of books off Amazon.com, and one day, for some reason I can't remember, I did a search on books about acting as a profession. Every book I saw was written by mostly background actors, acting coaches, and casting directors. But there wasn't one book written by a true, working actor. An actor whose FULL TIME JOB is acting. So in between acting and script writing work, I wrote a COURSE based on my experiences, and what I've learned after 23 years in the business, to help you get on your way to pursuing acting as a career FULL TIME. Now I know I'm not a "star", I'm not Tom Cruise. But I'll let you in on a fact: There is NOTHING you can do to guarantee you'll become a star. NOTHING. You can, however, possibly make it as a full time actor, and that ain't so bad. I work on average, maybe a real 50 days out of the year. 50 days out of 365 days, and I make in a year what many people have to work 12 hours a day, 6 days a week to try and make. I drive a nice car, have a nice place to live, and I have plenty of time to do the things I like, such as study martial arts, go to the gym, spend time with my girlfriend and my dogs. And when I work, I get to do things like stay at a luxury 5 star resort on the beach in Puerto Rico for 3 months, and play commando with Dwayne Johnson and Vin Diesel. Doesn't sound so bad to be a working actor, does it? BUT, and this is a very big, big "but": It is not easy to get there. It's downright hard, and cruel at times, and if you know what to expect, how to deal with it, and know the RIGHT and WRONG things to DO or NOT to do, your chances are going to be beyond better than the average person that comes out here every year to be an actor, an estimated 32,000 people a year, that is. It is NOT an easy career. By far, possibly one of the hardest, most unfair professions to try and crack. Let my course help to educate you, inform you, and teach you the best way to chase your dream.
