Hollywood Reality Check Seminars are weekend long intensive seminars run by  Geoff Meed.  
Over the course of the two day program, Geoff will give the low down on what it takes to make a
living as an actor in Hollywood. No holds barred, just brutal honesty.

Topics covered in depth are:
1) Making the Decision to go  
2) What you'll need
3) What to do when you first get there
4) Your day job
5) When and how do you begin pursuing your career as a professional actor/actress
6) Know what you are -- you're a product, but what kind?  What is your type?
7) Headshots -- they ain't cheap folks!
8) Acting classes -- what to look for, what to RUN from
9) Getting an agent -- theatrical, commercial, voice over, and managers
10) Casting Directors - the doors to employment
11) Unions
12) To be an extra, or not to be
13) On the set
14) Maintaining your career, plus much, much more

That is just the beginning of all the material that will be covered.  Each first half of the day will be
the "seminar" portion of the workshop.  Then the second half will be the "audition".  You will be
given real "sides" from produced television and films.  You will NOT audition with William
Shakespeare, Tennessee Williams, etc.  You will audition with the type of material you will be
going out for.  Geoff will "guide" you in your audition process.  You'll be taped, then you'll get to
watch it.  And it will be EXACTLY like a real FILM/TELEVISION audition, so you know what to
expect.  At the end of the first day, you take home those sides to MEMORIZE and PREPARE
(incorporating any notes given).  When you return the following day, the first half will again be the
seminar portion, then the second part will be your "Callback" -- off the page, prepared to get the
job.

Times: 10 a.m. SHARP to 2 p.m. Saturday and Sunday
Please be aware that the seminar STARTS at 10:00 a.m.  You should arrive at 9:30 a.m. to
have adequate time to check in and get your materials.  Class could possibly run until 3 p.m.

The Cost: $150 for both days.  You may pay through  PayPal or bring CASH to the door (no
checks, sorry).
